Who writes these questions
ClinicalStem is built by someone who has passed the Australian pharmacist registration exam. Not studied it from the outside — sat it and passed it, with the same eligibility paperwork, the same wait, and the same problem every overseas-trained pharmacist runs into: plenty of international question banks, almost nothing written for Australian practice.
That is the gap this exists to close. It is why every question is written against Australian references rather than adapted from an American bank, and why the answer explanations tell you why each option is wrong rather than just marking one correct.
How the content is made
You are paying to be told what is correct, so it is reasonable to ask how we know. Every claim below is verifiable — and where we cannot verify something, we say so on the page rather than quietly publishing it.
Every question is clinically reviewed before it is served
All 2,524 questions in the live bank carry a reviewed status. Newly written questions are held in a staging area and are not served to anyone until that review is signed off — the generation pipeline cannot publish straight to the bank.
Every answer cites a source you can check
Each question carries a reference — Therapeutic Guidelines, the Australian Medicines Handbook, the TGA or an equivalent Australian source — so you can verify the key yourself rather than take our word for it. Coverage is 100%, not a sample.
Mechanism claims are checked against textbooks, not memory
Physiology, pharmacokinetics and formulation claims are verified against a standard reference library (Guyton & Hall, Shargel, Aulton, Pathophysiology of Disease) with the book and page recorded. Where a textbook is not Australian, it settles the mechanism only — local guidance settles the practice.
The exam blueprint is enforced in code, not just described
The official domain weightings live in a single file that the mock-exam sampler and the readiness score both read, so the two can never drift apart. The 63 Crash Course modules are balanced against the same weighting.
Question quality is gated automatically
Automated checks run over the whole bank for answer-position bias, answer-length giveaways, duplicated stems and explanations that contradict their own key. These are the flaws that let candidates score without knowing the content — and that quietly inflate a readiness estimate.
Findings are written down, including the unflattering ones
Content audits are recorded in the repository with what was found, what was fixed, and what was left open. When a claim has not been verified against a current Australian source, it is removed rather than published with a disclaimer.

ClinicalStem is exam preparation, not clinical advice, and it is not affiliated with the Australian Pharmacy Council or endorsed by them. Eligibility rules, fees, exam dates and the registration pathway change — always confirm those directly with the APC. Practice questions here are written from scratch; none are reproduced or recalled from a real paper.
