OPRA Study Plan

A clear, week-by-week way to prepare for the OPRA exam — built around the official blueprint and the way the exam actually tests.

Sequence your study by yield

Start with Therapeutics and patient care — it's the largest slice of the exam — then work through pharmacology, biomedical sciences, pharmacokinetics and medicinal chemistry. Don't leave calculations to the end; they're the most common failure point, so practise them little and often from week one.

A simple 8–12 week structure

  • Weeks 1–2: diagnose — take a baseline set, identify weak domains
  • Weeks 3–8: learn + drill — Crash Course a concept, then practise questions on it; daily calculations
  • Weeks 9–10: full timed mocks; review every wrong answer's explanation
  • Final weeks: spaced-repetition review of misses; confirm readiness against the 70% mark
